Bridal Party

Amanda Rogers
One of Kristen's Co-Maids of Honor, Amanda will actually be getting married herself only a week before Kristen!  Amanda and Kristen met at the start of 9th grade at Aden Bowman Collegiate.  The girls happened to sit next to each other in their freshman drama class, and quickly began to spend most of the classes talking  to each other.  Though Amanda didn't become as obsessed with drama as Kristen did (probably a smart move on her part) they became as thick as thieves, often going over to Amanda's parents house for the lunch hour to play cards with friends in what became affectionately known as the "Old lady lunch hour".  Amanda, Jess, and Kristen all went to Florida together for a "girls-only holiday" in 2009 that still sparks stories and laughter.  Amanda now shares her caring and compassionate nature working as a care-aid at St. Anne's Residence in Saskatoon.

Cheryl Rosher

After surviving Computer Science 10 together in High School, Cheryl and Kristen quickly became fast friends.  They grew apart over the years when Kristen moved away for University, and then Cheryl moved to South Korea to teach.  However, one fateful day Cheryl decided to email Kristen out of the blue (surprising her with the knowledge that she was actually in South Korea!)  Like no time had passed the friendship redeveloped and grew even stronger.  Over the next 3 years Cheryl repeatedly tried to convince Kristen that she should go and teach in Korea.  Each time the suggestion was laughed at, and never really taken seriously.  The travel and adventure bug implanted by Cheryl's suggestions eventually took hold however, and Kristen moved to South Korea to teach.  It was there that Cheryl introduced Kristen to the friends she had made - most notably Mr. Travis Vaughn.  As they say, the rest is history!  Cheryl is now back in Canada and working towards becoming a member of the City of Saskatoon Police Force.

Jessica Stephens

Holding a 1/3 membership in the 3 Musketeers, a place in the "Old Ladies Luncheon", and being one of Kristen's Co-Maids of Honour, it is clear that Jess is an integral part of Kristen's life.  After meeting in High School through mutual friends, they have become closer and closer as the years have gone by.  They managed to survive Gel pen-gate (Where Kristen borrowed Jess' collection of Gel pens in Senior year and managed to lose every last one of them), working on a Drama 30 project together (Kristen was the director, and her actors [JESS] decided they'd rather play hide and seek than rehearse),  as well as both girls moving away from Saskatoon.  However, whenever both are in Saskatoon they always make time to see each other and hang out - even if it involves spending the day running errands together!  Jess is currently living in Battleford with her husband Chris, daughter Abigail, and working as a paramedic.

 Rachel Friesen

Rachel and Kristen met in High School (by now an extremely common theme between all of Kristen's friends).  Rachel and Kristen were theater buddies, meeting in the first Technical crew club meeting.  Though Rachel ended up being more involved in the acting aspects than the technical ones, she and Kristen bonded over long rehearsals.  Rachel is also the reason Kristen got the nickname "Sam ze Chef" in High School.  The story is long, convoluted, and involves a theme song... one neither Rachel nor Kristen can remember in its entirety to this day.  Kristen and Rachel were also roommates while attending the U of A in Edmonton for several years - something Kristen cherishes dearly.  Rachel was the perfect person to be able to de-stress with, whether it was to vent about something (anything) or just be completely silly for a couple of minutes.  These days Rachel is living in Edmonton with her husband Micah and two beautiful children, Sarah and Levi.

Dustin Gravley

Dustin is Travis’ cousin, and has always been his preferred hiking partner.  They have been to damn near every waterfall off a beaten trail in Oconee county (and that’s a lot!).  He usually ended up being the guide that knew exactly where to go (exactly in this case means “more or less”).  As an eagle scout, he always seems prepared for anything that might come up.  Dustin is now attending Clemson University, majoring in Forestry, and has recently become engaged himself.

Gene Gravley

Gene is Travis' uncle (his mom's sister's husband).  For as long as Travis can remember Gene has been a volunteer firefighter with the Walhalla fire department - a job he now holds as Assistant Chief.   Gene also works and volunteers with the boy scouts, helping them with barbeques and going on camping trips.  Travis' best memories of his uncle involve food.  Gene's abilities to fry toast and make an amazing low country boil [frogmore stew] have left a tasty impression.  These days Gene also works with the school district of Oconee county.   Travis is excited to have Gene travel all the way from South Carolina up to Saskatoon for the wedding

Mitchell Haver

Mitch is Kristen's youngest brother, and Kristen enjoyed teasing and tormenting him for much of their formative years.  They also enjoyed trips to the lake, and (together with Rob) burying each other inside the family couch as kids.  Thankfully, they still love each other and Mitch agreed to become part of the wedding party.  Mitch recently convocated from the University of Saskatchewan Edwards School of Business with a major in Business Management.  He is now working for Broadstreet Properties in Saskatoon.  Travis and Mitch met for the first time in November of 2010, finding camaraderie through video games.

Rob Haver

Growing up Rob and Kristen entertained themselves by turning the backyard lawn furniture into carnival rides, and competing with each other over who could tread water the longest.  They also hold the (self-appointed) title of the world's longest Monopoly game. Though the version they played however, involved loans from the bank that neither of them ever had to pay back.  The game also got shoved under Robs' bed for weeks at a time only to be pulled out and continued as if no time had passed.  Rob is currently attending the University in Saba getting his PhD in Medicine.  Though Rob and Kristen currently live about as far apart on planet Earth as they possibly could [with Kristen being in Japan, and Rob living on the Island of Saba], they are still close and Rob has agreed to stand up for Travis at the wedding.  This is especially impressive since Rob will actually be meeting Travis for the first time (in person) the weekend of the wedding!
